This May I will be flying to Kalgoorlie to take part in the Pipeline Challenge. The Pipeline Challenge is a mountain bike ride from Kalgoorlie to Perth that raises money for a great cause called Youth Futures. Youth Futures is a charity that has been giving young people in Western Australia the support they need for over 30 years. This ride will be an exciting mental and physical challenge for me but the fundraising aspect adds a whole new meaning to riding my bike.
My aim is to raise $1000 for the cause so any donation will be greatly appreciated. Donations go directly towards finding a home for a young homeless person, counselling for young people affected by crime or education for youth that go without it. I can’t wait for this great experience and thanks to all those that lend a hand by donating.
The Pipeline Challenge is an epic five day ride bringing together mountain bikers in support of young mums escaping homelessness and domestic violence.
Over five gruelling days riders will trace the golden pipeline from Kalgoorlie to Mundaring, camping each night along the way. To find out more visit pipelinechallenge.com.au
