I have signed up for a second year to participate in the Pipeline Challenge, this year I have teamed up with my uncle and cousin who will be coming over from Tasmania! I am so excited for them to visit and what better way to experience rural WA than a leisurely 600km ride. After some health issues late last year this is going to be one of the biggest challenges I've faced yet and with the event in my sights I am more determined than ever to find my fitness and get back on my bike.
The funds we raise from the Pipeline Challenge support such a worthy cause, being the NEST program ran by Youth Futures. The program is the only of it's kind in WA and provides vulnerable young mothers and mothers to be with a safe and supportive environment to raise their child. They have already helped so many at risk young women and their babies and with our support they can continue to do this and help even more people.
Any donation great or small will be so greatfully appreciated.
The Pipeline Challenge is an epic five day ride bringing together mountain bikers in support of young mums escaping homelessness and domestic violence.
Over five gruelling days riders will trace the golden pipeline from Kalgoorlie to Mundaring, camping each night along the way. To find out more visit pipelinechallenge.com.au
